Dear Nancy,
If you are having in mind Esaulov's book (Paskhal'nost' russkoi
literatury) and his articles related to religious aspects of Russian
literature, you may wish to adopt the term used by one Oxford journal
on theology and literature. The editors of the journal translated
Esaulov's term as "The Easter archetype of Russian literature":
Esaulov, I.A. The Easter Archetype of Russian Literature and the
Structure of Boris Pasternak’s Novel «Doctor Zhivago» // Literature
and Theology. Oxford, 2006. Vol. 20. № 1.
See Esaulov's website: http://jesaulov.narod.ru/
All very best,
Sasha Smith
