Volunteer opportunities in Eastern Europe?

A friend of mine is looking for a chance to do some service in Eastern Europe over the next 
few months.  She doesn't have any language skills, but has spent time in Lithuania.  If 
anyone has had positive (or negative) experiences with any particular program, your
