Latin for Опасно чувств овать себ я безопасно в опасности

Hi Sergey,

I have asked a University librarian who put this question up on the librarians' national email list and was referred to a minor Latin poet named Publilius Syrus, a contemporary of Julius Caesar in the first century BC. The following two versions of what he imagines is the same sentence seem to be the closest he could get to the Russian.

 "One is not exposed to danger who, even when in safety is always on
 their guard"

 "He is best secure from dangers who is on his guard even when he seems
 safe"

 The work by Publilius is  in a volume of minor Latin poets  held in off-campus storage, so he has requested it in the hope of finding the original Latin. 
Failing that you might need to find in which library Publilius's works are held and go from there.

 We will get back to you if he finds it.
