[John Lyles]

There is a statue of Kovalyov's nose in a courtyard in St. Petersburg State
University.  I think I have a photo somewhere if you're interested.  Also,
outside of the Gogol museum in Moscow, underneath the statue of the writer
are characters from his works (I can send a picture of this, as well).
