The department of Slavic Languages and Literatures in the College of
Letters, Arts & Sciencesat the University of Southern California invites
applications for a tenure-track position at the level of assistant
professor in the area of Russian and/or central or eastern European
cinema.  In addition to Ph.D. by August 2011, significant scholarly
potential and native or near-native fluency in the relevant language(s)
is required.  The successful applicant will be expected to teach both
graduate and undergraduate courses, including courses in the
University’s general education program.  USC strongly values
