Conference on U.Ss and Russian Higher Education

American Councils for International Education (ACTR) is pleased to announce 
a conference on U.S. and Russian higher education that may be of interest to 
SEELANGERS in the Washington and mid-Atlantic area. The plenary 
session “The Entrepreneurial University – Accelerating Social and Economic 
Innovation” will take place on April 13th, 2011 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm at 
the University of California Washington Center located at 1608 Rhode Island 
Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, 20036. The plenary session will explore how 
universities and academic innovation play a vital role in socio-economic 
development, and how U.S. and Russian research universities are building 
capacities and deploying their resources in these areas. A group of 30 rectors 
and senior officials from Russian regional and national research universities
