visa processing times in Europe

Dear SEELANGERs,

 

I am looking for any updated feedback on processing times for Russian
student visas when processing them in Europe - specifically as concerns
Americans. We are aware that the consulates in Europe have relaxed about the
residency requirement when it comes to the student visas, but we are hoping
there are some consulates that do not take the full 14 business days for
processing. We should have feedback on a few consulates by summer, and we
have heard that Helsinki is quoting 14 business days. Any recent reporting
on this situation will be greatly appreciated!
