Russian in DC

Dear All,
A former student of mine recently graduated and moved to DC. She was in the
middle of second-year Russian when she left and would now like to continue
studying the language. Are there any opportunities you would recommend for
learning Russian in the DC area for someone who doesn't want to formally go
back to school right now? 
Has anyone had experience with the International Language Institute
(http://www.transemantics.com/flp/russian_group.html)?
