The Thomas J. Watson Library at the Metropolitan Museum of Art recently digitized a small selection of rare books published in Imperial and early Soviet Russia. This small sliver represents a wide range of themes and formats, including Soviet caricature, arms and armor, 19th-century photograph albums, collection and exhibition catalogs.
