Should be a lot of fun, and fascinating to see how they handle the Charge,
Flashman's sojourn at Starotorsk, the serf revolt, his flight through the
snow reminiscent of Pushkin's Бесы (except it turns out to be a волк,
several of them, in fact), his escape to India via the Aral Sea  (including
a successful drug-fuelled attack on two Russian ships) and Afghanistan .....

And over it all looms the sinister figure of Count Ignatieff (also to make
an appearance on the next volume, set during the Indian Mutiny) whose
great-grandson we just dodged as Prime Minister up here in Canada ......
