ASEEES panel on the intersection of high and popular culture

Dear colleagues,

I had a very strong response to my call for the effects of Western popular culture on the former Soviet Union and Eastern Bloc countries. We now have three complete panels but we are short two presenters for the panel on the intersection of high (literary) and popular culture as influenced by the West. The existing paper is on Pelevin's "Snuff" and American cultural influences. We have a chair and a discussant already.
