Russian literature to inmates

I have read at least twice before and here was a radio broadcast about
teaching Russian literature to prison inmates http://withgoodreasonradio.org/
It's always Russian literature that is taught to those in jail, and it
always gives meaning to their lives, somehow.

Maybe Russian lit should be expanded to high school students, before
they land in jail?
