The Pennsylvania State University

Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures

 

The Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures at The
Pennsylvania State University (University Park) invites applications for a
full-time lectureship position (non tenure-track) in Russian, for up to a
3-year term to begin in Fall 2014 with possibility of renewal.
Responsibilities include teaching Russian language courses at all levels
as well as undergraduate Russian literature and culture courses taught in
Russian and English including a large-enrollment online Russian culture
course taught in English. Teaching experience in the US is highly
desirable. Teaching load is 3-3. Applicants must have native or
near-native fluency in English and Russian and hold at least a Master's
degree in Russian or related field, Ph.D. preferable. Salary is
commensurate with experience and includes benefits.
