Off the cuff I think Terence Wade's Russian Grammar has a chapter on that

Subject: [SEELANGS] Translation of Emphatic Particles from Russian into
English

Dear SEELANGers,

Does anyone know of any articles, book chapters, etc. that discuss the
various ways of translating ведь, уж, же, and да into English, or that
compare emphatic constructions in the two languages?

Sincerely,

Brian Hayden
