First-Year Russian over the Summer

Dear colleagues,

I have a student who is very interested in taking an intense first-year (full year) Russian language course over the summer and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has recommendations to make.  She is especially interested in insights based on actual experience at any given program, be that your own or your students'.  She knows about Middlebury, and many of our students have completed and loved that program, but she would like to explore other options as well.
