Visiting Scholars Programme 2014-2015: Call open until February 24, 2014

Each year, the Aleksanteri Institute, University of Helsinki, Finland invites highly qualified foreign scholars studying Russia and Eastern Europe to undertake a 1–3 month research stay at the premises of the institute. Applications are invited from highly qualified scholars conducting research in a field relevant to the Aleksanteri Institute's research agenda. Applicants at different stages of their academic career, from junior researchers to established scholars, are welcome to apply. Applicants must hold a PhD degree or equivalent (granted no later than December 2013). The stay is supported with a monthly grant. The visitors have the opportunity to conduct research and interact with other researchers at the Aleksanteri Institute and with the wider academic community at the University of Helsinki and in Finland.
