Dear List, This isn't specifically a Siouan language question, but I'm hoping someone here can help me. In researching some of the early sources (specifically the Jesuit Relations 1661-2), I've run across repeated but very vague references to the "Nation of the Ox" as "sedentary Nadwesseronons."
