names of signed languages

Good morning all:

Could anyone help me with the state of sign language/s in Sri Lanka? An
applied linguist colleague is to work with Sri Lankan authorities to
develop a "national language policy" for that country. He has been
(fairly easily - Ive trained him over the years!) persuaded to include a
statement on sign language/s in the policy, so I want to be able to
brief him.

PS: Lets evolve a policy about the names of national/local sign
languages so I can brief him on that too!
