The Learning Center for Deaf Children (TLC) serves Deaf and hard- of- hearing
students from infancy through high school. The Learning Center was founded in
1970 and today is comprised of three schools with the main campus in
Framingham, Massachustts, which serves the great majority of our students; a
satellite program in Randolph, MA, which was established in 1994 ; and Walden
School, a therapeutic treatment program for Deaf students with severe
emotional, behavioral or developmental disturbances. (ages 8-22) Throughout
it's history TLC has been a leader in Deaf education. It was the first school
in Massachusetts to depart from the traditional method of education and to
advocate the use of sign langugae in addition to spoken English. Visitors
comment often on our
