Special  Issue  on  COMPUTATIONAL SEMANTICS in SALR

We are happy to announce that South Asian Language Review (SALR), a
biannual journal published in India beginning with January 1991 plans to

bring out a special issue on the theme `Computational  Semantics'.Papers
are sought in areas which include, but are not limited to, the following
topics:

         * meaning representation in natural language dialogues
         * construction and use of natural language semantic
representations
        * knowledge representation and reasoning in meaning computation
        * the computational semantics-pragmatics interface
        * modelling and using context for semantic interpretation
        * computational semantics of speech acts
        * semantic aspects of language generation
        * shallow processing and formal semantics
         * building semantic interfaces in grammars
         * word sense disambiguation
         * the use of context in interpretation


SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Authors are requested to submit an original paper in not more than 3000
words (or 15 pages) by   June 30, 2003. Papers may be submitted
electronically in MS-WORD /PDF/PS formats to umarani at pitt.edu or
 koulon at now-india.net.in. Please follow the Stylesheet used in Language.
