Telugu Lecturer Position at Michigan

The Department of Asian Languages and Cultures, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, invites applications for a Lecturer position in Telugu, beginning September 1, 2003. The position is half-time but  may be converted to full-time contingent upon enrollment and funding. The candidate should have at least an M.A. degree and native or near-native proficiency in Telugu. Teaching experience is a plus. The position requires teaching Telugu at all levels. The position is for one academic year (nine month) with possibility of renewal.
