About Wordnets	English (USA)
wordnets@listserv.linguistlist.org is an open, lightly moderated mailing list for anyone who builds, studies, or uses wordnets and related lexical‑semantic resources. It provides a single forum for sharing releases, tools, research questions, and CFPs, as well as discussing best practices in creating, linking, and using wordnets across languages and domains. Posts should stay on topic, be concise and respectful, and link to large files rather than attaching them; all messages are archived publicly for the benefit of the global community. More information on different wordnet projects and general documentation can also be found online . Questions about individual wordnets may be better addressed to the project in question, if you are not sure, feel free to ask here. Using Wordnets
To post a message to all the list members, send email to wordnets@listserv.linguistlist.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Wordnets
Subscribe to Wordnets by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
