Dear Colleagues,

ACLA plays an active role in building our scholarly community throughout the year, as well as advancing research and teaching in all areas of applied linguistics across Canada. To do so, we depend on your support.

Your membership is our primary means of continuing to support the work we do and to build on our scholarly contributions and collaborations. We therefore invite you to renew your membership each year, even in those years when you may not be attending or presenting at the annual conference.

We extend a grateful thank you to those of you who have already renewed their membership for the 2020 year. Again, we regret this year not being able to meet as usual for our annual conference.

We hope to see many of you attend our upcoming virtual AGM on June 2, 2020 and join in the discussion about the new initiatives we have been working on this year, particularly those that pertain to the benefits of ACLA membership beyond the annual conference. More information to come.
