Admittedly, I am Grant and should be studying for my French final, but I
say:
"an erb salad" (remember the Burger Kind "who's Herb?" campaign?)
"some herbs" and "an historical fact" but with a small, reclusive
aspirated "h"
"a hereditary disease"
"a history of art final I just finished not ten minutes ago"
} Admittedly, I'm not Grant, and, as I don't pronounce the "h" in "herb"
I would
} say "an herb". But I would say "a Herb Albert album", as I say "a
hereditary
} condition". "Historical" can go either way for me, depending on whom
I'm
} speaking with at the time, I think.
