H & C

   This place is very civilized.  The English language newspaper, THE NEWS, runs columns such as William Safire´s On Language and Evan Morris's Word Detective!
   The big puzzle was the shower, where there were two choices--H & C.  Hot and Cold.  Simple.
   The Hot wasn´t so hot.  Then you remember that C is Caliente--hot!  (H is for Frio, cold?  Shouldn´t that be H & F?)
   The Caliente wasn´t so hot, either...

MEXICAN FOODS

    "Gringa" is a somewhat recent addition to menus (last 20 years?).  It´s a ham and cheese sandwich, on white bread.
    McDonald´s offers a McBurrito.  It doesn´t offer a Gringa, but imagine if it did:
    "Senor, do you want White Trash with that?"
