The term "Confederate Diaspora"  was made up on the spur of the moment while
I was writing that e-mail to describe results of the mass migration west and
north from the southern states during the depression and WWII--and since, as
well as the influence on the media by Nashville, etc.  I will take the blame
for it anyway, even if it turns out to have been used by someone else
unbeknownst to me.
