triple bagels

There was an NPR spot last week in which their sports person suggested
naming the new century "double love" and the suggestion was made that
"double bagels" might be just as good--maybe triple bagels comes from
that. . .

-- just a guess. . . After all, I live in a place where Burger King has
a ham 'n' bagel special for passover!
