HEZBOLLAND

The NEW YORK POST, 27 May 2000, pg. 10, cols. 2-5 headline:

   Fighting words in "Hezbolland"

Obviously, from Hezbollah-land. But could it also be Hez-bolland, with the last part like "Holland"?

NEW YORK TIMES

To briefly answer Greg Downing's comment--no, I don't blame William Safire of The New York Times for The New York Times Book Review Editor's incorrect knowledge of the word "plagiarism." (It comes from the Latin, "to kidnap a child." There's also a spelling error in Encarta online.)
My complaints against William Safire are of eight years' standing and have never been resolved. They reached a ridiculous point last year, when I spent five months begging to give out free ANS and ADS memberships. No one even responded. This is all well chronicled in the ADS-L archives.
My general point with the New York Times is that the truth is censored and has no recourse.
People should be on my side to help me.
