Since we're on the subject of "piss-X"...
Is the term "pisswilly" familar to anyone ?
A friend of mine picked it up somewhere,
and used it as a mildly reproachful term of
affection, similar to "you rascal."
How about "piss-elm" ? My dad used that
one, amused that I was planning to burn
Chinese elm in the fireplace. Again, the "piss"
element seems to have referred to the
urine-like smell of the burning wood... as I
found out.
