linguisticians/semasiology

Following our recent discussion of linguists v. linguisticians, I note that
the Oxford Text Archive has the following line in their job advert (from
Linguist List):

- Experience of working with digital resources produced by, for, or of
interest to linguisticians

I wonder if the writer of the ad is a linguist(ician).

Does anyone know anyone in linguistics who currently uses 'semasiology' in
preference to 'semantics'?
