"mocha and java" (get along; 1913)

I would suggest that "mocha and java" < "get along like mocha and java" or
so, = "get along well", refers not merely to coffee in general but to the
supposed special compatibility of Mocha and Java coffee beans. If you go to
the specialty coffee shelf at the market, you'll see probably "Colombian",
"Kenya", "Guatemala", etc., and "Mocha-Java" ... you probably won't see
"Mocha" or "Java" alone (unless the store carries a very large selection),
and you probably won't see "Mocha-Guatemala", "Kenya-Java", etc. ... Mocha
beans (from Yemen) are considered to make a good blend with Java beans
(from Java). Mocha beans have a distinctive flavor and they are quite
expensive, although not as expensive as Kona or Jamaica Blue Mountain in my
experience. One company sells a blend which is named "Mocha-Java" even
though it is explicitly stated that the blend is of Mocha + Sumatran beans
(even better, it is claimed); other (cheaper) "Mocha-Java" blends are
filled out with cheap beans of various provenances.
"Jamoke" = "coffee" (from 19th Century I think) also < "Mocha" + "Java",
apparently.
