BODY STOCKING

   OED has VOGUE of 15 April 1965.
   From NEW YORK magazine of the NEW YORK HERALD TRIBUNE, 28 March 1965, pg. 9, col. 2:

   Take the "Petti-pants."  It's a chemise bikini designed for the girl who considers slips extinct.  The "Petti-pants," with its wisp of skirt over a bikini panty, is ideal for today's abbreviated dresses.  Then there's the "Body Stocking," Warner's nylon-stretch second skin which bypasses bras, panties, and girdle.
