ITALIAN TRIBUNE

The Italian Tribune (www.italiantribune.com) is a New Jersey periodical. I sent an e-mail about the publication (Italian dialect & food articles?) and got the response attached at the end of this message. I'll go to Newark to check it out when I return.

PERMA-BEAR

From the WALL STREET JOURNAL EUROPE, 27 August 2001, pg. 20, col. 1:

While a few strategists correctly predicted the market's difficulties, many of them, like Barton Biggs of _Morgan Stanley_, had been negative for so long that at least some investors began to view them as "perma-bears," more stubborn than convinced the market would drop.

--------------------------------------------------------
ARM CANDY (continued from EYE/EAR CANDY)

From the WALL STREET JOURNAL EUROPE, 27 August 2001, pg. 13, col. 1:

One U.S. trade official panned Japan's early Net phones as "arm candy."
