   The nut who tried to attack President Bush today had a complex about West Point.  I was reading the following book; these are the footnotes.

Pg. 29:
   "Dog Robber" is a term of contempt used by enlisted men to designate a soldier who performs service for an officer.

Pg. 47:
   Gunner:  Name applied to candidate or plebe who serves the soup, etc., at table.
   Yearling:  Cadet in his second year at the academy.

Pg. 49:
   The source and original meaning of the expression "B.J." are obscure.  It has been in use for many years at West Point as a synonym for "freshness," or excessive "bumptiousness."

Pg. 135:
   Goat:  A member of the lowest section in a class.

Pg. 195:
   Femme:  A girl.
   Drag:  To take to a hop.

Pg. 290:
   "To fess out cold":  To make a complete failure on a recitation.
