CNN.com reports that the Australian "scramjet" tests have been delayed. A hypersonic "scramjet" engine can possibly go as fast as 5,000 miles per hour. The word "scramjet" comes from "supersonic combustion ramjet." The vehicle traveling at the craziest speed remains the "farblondjet."
