The San Ignacio Hotel that I'm staying at here has a Running W Steak House and a Stork Club (since the 1960s, I'm told).
These are the Belize specialties of the RUNNING W STEAK HOUSE:

Belizean rice and beans
Cayo's beans and rice
Creole lobster
Snapper
Escabeche
Relleno Negro ("black mole")
Cayo ballos
Maya Steak--tender strips of marinated beef, grilled and served with flour tortillas, refried beans, fried plantains and our special salsa.

   From the STORK CLUB:

BLUE BELIZEAN--Blue curacoa, pinapple juice, Crystal rum, Coco Lopez, Galiano.
CAYO GAL--white wine, lime juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, Sprite, grenadine, nanche. (I was told that this is a new one just introduced--ed.)
IGUANA TILLY--tequila, Southern Comfort, lime juice, Sprite.
PASSIONATE IGUANA--creme de cocoa, Crystal lemon rum, Tia Maria shot, grenadine, pineapple juice, two cherries.
PANTI RIPPER--pineapple juice and coconut rum. (Females only.)

The woman I spoke with was having the "Panti Ripper," and I was naturally curious about this "females only" drink. She said it's a popular drink in Belize. Supposedly, it makes women so crazy they rip off their panties. I thanked her for her help and offered to buy her another drink.
