Not Russian, Lebanese. Uncle Tonoose (sp?) on the old Danny Thomas sit-com,
at least some seasons of which were called "Make Room for Daddy." Uncle T.
was played by Hans Conried, who also did some of the voices on "Rocky and
Bullwinkle" (notably, IIRC, the narrator of the Fractured Fairy Tales),
which may be adding to the confusion.
