Pg. 40:
CORN DOGS Texanna Latimer
2 1/4 c. flour
2 c. corn meal
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
2 c. sweet milk
Sift and mix dry ingredients; add egg and milk mixed together. Let stand
30 minutes or more. It will thicken for a heavy coating. This should cover
22 frankfurters. Dip franks in batter and drop in hot fat (375 deg.). When
done on one side, they will turn over without using fork. Serve hot with
mustard.
