Perhaps doughnut dolly is not a slang phrase, but in my unit in the
Korean DMZ, Summer 1967, we were told to stop using the phrase because
those whom we called doughnut dollies were offended by the phrase. I
don't remember what they wanted to be called. Things heated up in the
DMZ in the Fall, and the doughnut dollies no longer visited our unit.

It seems that they (the dollies) considered our usage to be offensive.
Not sure if that condition moves the phrase into the slang category or
not.
