I recommend that you check your computer for piggyback programs such as
Gator which throw up advertisements regardless of which site you are
visiting. Also, it is a common trick for sites to initiate delayed
pop-ups, which sit in reserve for a number of minutes, hours, or days,
and then pop-up an advertisement. This makes it more difficult for
visitors to pinpoint the offending site.
