Mead's Ranch, Kansas...center of U.S.

I might add...Mead's Ranch is in Smith County, Kansas,
also famed as

       1.) the site of the original "Home On The Range"
             cabin in which the song was purportedly written;

       2.) the county with the highest median age in the
             last U.S. census; and

       2.) the site of the world-famed Smith Center, honoring
             people named Smith (located in the county-seat,
             Smith Center, in the center of Smith County).

In conjunction with their geodetic distinction, Smith Countians
might well consider themselves at the very center of things.
Yet they remain, thus far, amazingly humble.
