Hi Folks:
Don't forget that Sinatra's singing voice was in a different accent than
his speaking voice; most argue he "standardized" (in some cases probably
hyper-corrected) his New Jersey-speak for singing. And Matt Monro
sounded like Sinatra when he sang, but spoke in an impenetrable cockney.
(Just to prove that this phenomenon didn't start with the Brits
imitating Muddy Waters)!
