   Greetings from an airport in Korea...I just turned to www.nypost.com, and the front page story (the most important in the world) is that a New York Yankee player got hit in a diner.

   _Dasik or cookies for tea_ is on page 52 of MORNING CALM, the September 2002 in-flight magazine of Korean Air.  It dates back to well before our word "cookie"--to the first century B.C. at least.  The cookie designs are interesting.
   A quick check of OED shows it's not there.
