IGNATZ FRISCHMAN, "HOT DOG ROLL" MAN--There are no Google hits for him. He's
not mentioned in the BROOKLYN EAGLE, through 1901. Another discovery. The
NYPL and BPL are both closed on Monday. I went to the Brooklyn Historical
Society's web site, and it says that its library will re-open "in 2003."
JAZZ--I wrote a letter to the Los Angeles Times. The newspaper is read by a
lot of show biz people, so look for George "The Terminator" Thompson on the
TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO next week.
