My wife's grandparents were Sicilian, and several people in her family
pronounced "con" as "coo." I think this vowel change is common in Sicilian.
"Questo" ["this"] in Italian is "chistu" in Sicilian. I have also seen
Italian "con" translated into Sicilian as "cu."
