JANSSON'S TEMPTATION
Greetings from the NYPL. I didn't find this in cookbooks before 1958 (so far). I also did NOT see "Jansson's Temptation" in the two GOURMET books of the 1950s.
(OT: I just saw THE PRODUCERS, so I'd say that "Jansson's Temptation" would be the shapely Swedish dish named "Ula.")

I guess this is it, from the official CBS web site. The answer to last night's letter number two, "Why is New York called the Big Apple?"
A staff historian dresses up in garb from the wrong century and gets attacked by actors portraying fictional New York City thugs.
Hilarious. The guy deserves millions.
