   The CASSELL DICTIONARY OF SLANG has 1970+ for "tinsel town."  HDAS?
   Ancestry.com newspapers have several syndicated columns based in
Hollywood.  I searched with "Hollywood" as the key word.
   Was this coined by Virginia MacPherson of United Press?
