Think Doukhobor
or Freedomite
"A small group of zealots called the Sons of Freedom marched nude in 1902 to
protest against the materialism of their brethren. They also set fire to
farm equipment owned by fellow Doukhobors. Yet the majority of Spirit
Wrestlers both denounced the zealots and also refused to register for their
own property."

Many nude protests since then. In the 30's over 900 people were arrested in
British Columbia for nude protests and sentenced to 3 yesars imprisonment.

> "Naked protest" probably started in the 1960s-1970s, with women burning
their bras.
> The first Dow Jones database hit is the TORONTO STAR, 11-30-1986,
"Animal activists go 'naked' to protest against fur trade." I supposed it
makes some sense there--they don't want to wear fur.
> But what do clothes have to do with THIS? Is it Saddam against Calvin
Klein and Tommy Hilfiger?
