A translator colleague has asked for the exact meaning of "being grown" in the following phrase from the film "Barbershop", where the elder statesman/devils advocate/jokester, Eddie, played by Cedric the Entertainer gives a soliloquy which states that
"Rodney King deserved to be beat for driving drunk and being grown in a
Hyundai".
Can anyone on the list help?
