Hello. My name is Manny Fernandez and I am a reporter at the Washington
Post. I'm working on a story about words and phrases that were coined
during World War II that are still in use today, such as boondocks and
snafu, for example. I am looking for other sayings that gained popularity
after the war, as well as any experts who I can interview about World War
II military slang and its effects on American culture and linguistics.

I can be reached directly at 202-334-6555. Or feel free to send me an email
with your contact info.

Thank you,

Manny Fernandez
Washington Post reporter
